PAYE/SDL/UIF Registration With SARS

 

Cost:  R 800 for full registration service.

Who must register?

Any business (individual, partnership, close corporation or company) who employs at least one employee, MUST register for PAYE/UIF & WCA.

 

What documentation must I provide?

  1. If you have an external accountant / auditor / bookkeeper, an appointment letter from him.

  2. Original bank statement OR an original cancelled cheque OR an original letter from your bank confirming your business bank account.

  3. A copy of the business entity's municipal account OR a copy of your lease agreement which confirms the physical business address or a letter from the representative person confirming the business address.

  4. A certified copy of the ID of the representative person

  5. Signed Power of Attorney

  6. Signed Declaration by Employer

The above-mentioned documentation must accompany all PAYE/SDL/UIF applications.

Additional Attachments to accompany different types of Employers

Please ensure that you are informed of all documents to be supplied. We cannot submit the registration form before we have ALL the documents.

Individual

  • Certified copy of the identity document of the individual.

  • Certified copy of the identity document of the spouse if married in community of property.

Partnership

  • Certified copies of the identity documents of the 5 most senior partners of the partnership.

  • Partnership agreement in writing. If verbal agreement, please complete and attach the EMP128.

Company / Close Corporation

  • Certified copies of the identity documents of 5 most senior directors/members/shareholders.

  • Certified copy of the Founding Statement, CK1 or CK2 (Close Corporations).

  • Certified copies of Certificate of Incorporation, CM1 & Contents of register of Directors, CM29 (Companies).

Local Authority / Public Authority

  • Letterhead of the Local Authority / Public Authority.

Association not for gain

  • Constitution or memorandum of body applying for registration.

Estate / Liquidation / Trust

  • Letter of Authority and the Trust Deed.

Club

  • Constitution of the club.

Welfare Organisation

  • Proof of registration in terms of Non-profit Organisation Act 71 of 1997.

  • Certified copy of exemption in terms of the Income Tax Act 58 of 1962.

  • Certified copy of the constitution of the welfare Organisation.
